From outdoor sheepshead to hiking in the Kettle Moraine State Forest, I enjoyed a wide-ranging discussion of spring activities moved ahead this year by the record-setting warm weather.

Callers shared their own ideas for enjoying a remarkable March: playing guitar on the porch, dipping a paddle and spotting migrating birds. Some even reported infestations of mosquitoes, perhaps a buzz-kill to the general revelry.
