Scenes from the Eisenbahn Marathon

In it's second year, the Eisenbahn Marathon and Half Marathon drew about 420 to run on the trail from Eden to West Bend.

Bill Flaws, of Running in the USA, turned his camera on the action, motivated in part by his wife. Mary Flaws continued to impress on the local scene by winning the marathon in 3:19:40. Full results are available here.

Paul Rollet (right) runs alongside Samuel Jurek on his way to victory in the marathon. Rollet, of Chicago, finished in 2 hours, 40 minutes, 9 seconds.

Dana Schulz, of Germantown was second over the 26.2 miles, and Andrew Wien, also of Chicago, was third. They ran 2:46:40 and 2:59:01, respectively.

Jennifer Aber, of Shawnee, Ks., was second in the marathon, in 3:34:46, and Trisha Holz, of Kewaskum, was third, in 3:38:54.

In the half-marathon, Andy Ruffalo, of West Bend, took the honors in 1:16:28. Andy Nesheim, of Mequon, was third and Michael Borst, of Slinger, was third. They ran 1:19:07 and 1:19:44, respectively.

In the women's division, Domineque Beaudin took the win, with a time of 1:37:45. Cassandra Gwidt, of Waukesha, was second in 1:43:45 and Pam Schmitz, of De Pere, was third in 1:46:25.
