Organizers of the first La Crosse Area Labor Day Weekend Bicycle Festival plan to show off the scenic spectacle of the Coulee Region through a collection of guided group rides Friday through Monday.

As detailed in the La Crosse Tribune, the four-day event will include regional tours of 28 to 85 miles, a 56-mile race on paved and gravel roads, a mountain bike time trial as well as local architecture tours, and rides to get coffee and ice cream.

There will be nightly social events for adults and families, including live music Sunday night on Pearl Street and a screening of the movie “Up” Saturday in Cameron Park.

Details on registration and specific rides can be found here.
