Bike maps. Get your bike maps!
You can't tell your players without a program, or your local bike paths without a map.
Timed coincidentally to the start of baseball season, Dave Schlabowske announced today that the revised, updated, new-and-improved Milwaukee by Bike maps arrived fresh from the printer.
"Anyone dying to get their hands on one can pick one up from the Milwaukee County Parks administration offices on Watertown Plank Road or the Zeidler Municipal Bldg., 841 N Broadway."
Copies have been delivered to Wheel & Sprocket shops and Ben's Cycle and will be distributed to other businesses in short order. They're certain to be available at the bike expo next weekend at State Fair Park.
Schlabowske, the city's bicycle and pedestrian coordinator, put a good deal of work into the maps, and utilized his blog to gather input from local bikers.
